It kind of creeped my family out, but I loved it.

There is fascinating analysis of it in the book, "Deep Comedy".

Thanks for the post!Bethanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06805208196728669227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-80877997340702326452011-03-02T07:37:00.264-05:002011-03-02T07:37:00.264-05:00Twelfth Night is one of my favorite Shakespeare pl...Twelfth Night is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays. It was the year that one of the other guys and I were playing a brother and sister, and our drama teacher wanted us to try to portray the same kind of loving yet humorous relationship.

I enjoyed this version for the most part, but the main thing I remember is that horrid garden scene during Malvolio's monologue, with the statue! It was so embarrassing to watch that in mixed company! Our drama teacher was mortified and dove for the remote right away. Your readers might want a "heads up" to either fast forward or close their eyes for that scene. :{Hannah Prewett (beastsbelle)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15635091328769986946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-70519077503929262582011-03-01T17:53:02.051-05:002011-03-01T17:53:02.051-05:00I love the quote "If Music be the food of lov...I love the quote "If Music be the food of love, play on!"
