I did try to read Wuthering Heights, but I never finished it. That is one classic I can say I truly disliked.

Ive never even watched a Wuthering Heights adaptation, but I did watch multiple (I think 4 or 5) Jane Eyre adaptations (I own 2) and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Its a pity there are no Agnes Grey or Vilette adaptations beyond the era of the silent movie. I would really like that!birdienlhttp://birdienl.livejournal.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-59641819402617581812012-01-30T00:09:46.566-05:002012-01-30T00:09:46.566-05:00I've awarded you the Irresistibly Sweet Blog A...I've awarded you the Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award! http://elegance-of-fashion.blogspot.com/2012/01/ive-won-irresistibly-sweet-blog-award.htmlMiss Elizabeth Bennethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02019249086339232260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-51682768158385590572012-01-28T15:47:37.909-05:002012-01-28T15:47:37.909-05:00I have read Jane Eyre, Shirley, Villette, The Prof...I have read Jane Eyre, Shirley, Villette, The Professor, Agnes Grey (my favorite; Sarah Grace is right, the book is more like a Jane Austen novel), The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, Wuthering Heights, and some of the Bronte sisters' poetry.

I have never seen any of the film adaptations. I have watched some the film trailers and have never felt like spending time watching the whole movie.Christinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-31762062170388261312012-01-28T13:25:36.446-05:002012-01-28T13:25:36.446-05:00I've read "Jane Eyre" and 3/4 of &qu...I've read "Jane Eyre" and 3/4 of "Wuthering Heights." Strongly disliked (and was bewildered by) the latter. And I've read "Villette." Let's see...I've only seen one "Jane Eyre"; it starred Timothy Dalton and was very long. :)Charity Uhttp://austenitis.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-41933298439605518722012-01-28T12:02:33.732-05:002012-01-28T12:02:33.732-05:00I have read Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Shirley,...I have read Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Shirley, & Agnes Grey. Agnes Grey is my favorite. It is far less likely to give you a chilling thrill, but I prefer it. Actually it reminds me of something that Jane Austen might have wrote.

God bless,
Sarah GraceSarah Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11528995017267283342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-6797341026560513282012-01-28T01:51:24.922-05:002012-01-28T01:51:24.922-05:00Melody,
