Pride and Prejudice was a huge influence to me as a kid, I always longed to have gowns like that! How horrible to think it has taken me so long to start finding beautiful clothes, modern clothes are often so unromantic!

I have just got the epattern for the Romantic era dress from Wives and Daughters, so if I can print it off right, I will hopefully soon have a lovely gown, once I work out things like fit, etc.. I am still learning though! One day I would love a whole Victorian, Edwardian and Regency wardrobe!Laura Morriganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16402692693911867276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-49359113572945210532012-07-17T05:52:23.245-04:002012-07-17T05:52:23.245-04:00What a lovely post and such good choices, I love a...What a lovely post and such good choices, I love all of them! I think I love them all! Especially the yellow one, in the garden!

I also love the dresses Gwyneth wears as Emma, too! Especially the yellow one, when Frank Churchill rescues her! I Love it!

And I cannot leave out... I love Anne Shirley! My favorite is the one that has the flowers around the neckline - and the girls say she looks like a "Gibson Girl Magazine Cover".Net - "It's a Wonderful Movie"https://www.blogger.com/profile/01680194388277190995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-68081224640772595462012-07-11T22:56:00.626-04:002012-07-11T22:56:00.626-04:00My favorite is Elizabeth Bennet's wardrobe. But Margaret Hale's and Catherine Morland's are close seconds!

I definitely don't dislike any of these gorgeous wardrobes!!

If I could own any period drama character's wardrobe, it would have to be Elinor's from Sense and Sensibility 1995.Arielle Melody Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10651308960712330062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-8042907054292559552012-07-11T22:51:30.974-04:002012-07-11T22:51:30.974-04:00After passing #7, I guessed that Emma would be you...After passing #7, I guessed that Emma would be your favorite. :) I think she might also be mine...though Elizabeth Bennet '95 would be a close second. Margaret Hale wouldn't make my list -- while her clothes are very elegant, they didn't catch my eye while I watched "North and South". Molly Gibson...cute, but I don't like the sleeves. :P

No, I'm still not home. Loving Alaska! I had a few computer minutes, so I stopped by here. :)Charity Uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02717998337967392912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490346761566035007.post-6547393188852099602012-07-11T18:54:36.766-04:002012-07-11T18:54:36.766-04:00Sorry, going outside of your list (for obvious rea...Sorry, going outside of your list (for obvious reasons.) Sir Walter from Persuasion 1995, for sure. Those Edwardian styles... sigh. I love that movie, and one of the reasons is because the dresses are a lot more modest than in a lot of other Jane Austen movies. Also, some of her dresses, especially her blue and yellow one and her blue 'jumper' dress, look really light and comfortable.
This was so much fun to read.
