Melody, it's kind of funny that Mrs. Elton wasn't being nice to Emma in that scene and kind of telling her that she was just a home body. But I think that quote is so true and from all things I've read Jane Austen thought that was true too.

Old-Fashioned Charm
Yes. ;-) There's a lot of truth in that quote, and I like saying it every once in a while. When you have to be always going here and there, home can provide much comfort indeed. So even if Miss Elton was being rather...stingy, it's a good quote.
