Anne Elliot's Birthday Giveaway!

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered and participated!

No birthday party is quite the same without gifts, but on this occasion our birthday girl is sending three of you home with something extra special!
I've wanted to have a giveaway for a while and this occasion makes it the perfect time to do so! Also I've been in contact with wonderful Etsy sellers who are donating their beautiful items!

Take a look at the three items and then follow the rules below to enter the giveaway. Giveaway open from August 9th-16th, 2011. I will randomly pick three entries and announce the winners on August 17th, 2011.

Enter For a Chance to win one of these prizes:

Anne Elliot and Captain Wentworth Bookmark Set

Kindly donated by artist Masha Laurence from her Etsy shop Antique Fashionista
Ms. Laurence is an extremely talented artist with a love of Classic Literature. In her shop the Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte fan will feel right at home among her detailed original watercolors and bookmark and note card prints.
Much thanks to Masha and don't forget to visit her Etsy shop and take a look at her other delightful items!

Book Mark Set Description:
Both of these bookmarks are prints of Ms. Laurence's original watercolors, and are done in a rich blue and soft brown palette. Captain Wentworth is dressed in his Navy uniform, complete with a bicorn hat. The quote "You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope" is on the back. Anne is wearing a brown day dress with muslin gothic sleeves and a cozy blue cashmere shawl.

The quote "Her character was now fixed on his mind as perfection itself, maintaining the loveliest medium of fortitude and gentleness..." is on the back.

Jane Austen portrait pin with quote of Darcy proposal

Kindly donated by Alice Flynn from her delightful Etsy shop
Ms. Flynn is a very experienced artist from the mountains of Montana who works mostly in painting and printmaking. Her shop offers items such as pinback buttons, hand painted pendants, cast paper jewelry, framed art and downloadable images (for use on clothing and bags) all featuring her original designs! Many of her items feature quotes from Jane Austen and particularly Pride and Prejudice.
Many thanks to Alice and don't forget to check out her many lovely items at her Etsy shop!

Jane Austen Pin Decription:
The paragraph behind the portrait of Jane Austen is from Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Darcy says to Elizabeth Bennet, "In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."
