Good work! All six of your unscramble guesses were correct, your guess on #8 was mostly correct (the last word was incorrect), and all four of your country house guesses were correct. So your score total is 11 correct!

  7. Stephanie,
Great job! You guessed all of the uncrambles correctly, and all of the quotes correctly. Of the country houses you guessed 13, 14 and 15 correctly but 11 and 12 were incorrect. So your total score is 13 correct!

  8. Miss Dashwood,
You guessed all six of the unscramble puzzles correctly, and your guesses on the houses 11, 12 and 14 were correct.
So your score now is 9 correct.

Your guesses on quotes 8 and 9 are partially correct. On 8 you missed the last word in the quote and on 9 you guessed the novel incorrectly.
On quote 7 you guessed the novel incorrectly.
And your guess for house 15 was quite incorrect.
Try again on all of these and #10 and #13 if you wish.

Great work on your guesses! Your guesses on all of the unscramble characters were correct. You did correctly guess the novel #8 is from but do you think you could fill in the missing words? Your guesses on puzzles 11, 12 and 15 were completely correct! On #14 you guessed the novel correctly but who lived there?
Your score is 10 right now. Feel free to guess again!

  20. Jemimah,
Very good job! All of your guesses on the unscramble character names are correct, your guesses on the quotes were both correct and thanks for guessing all the characters who lived in the country houses. You got four of them correct but #13 was incorrect (right book, wrong characters). So your total score is 12 correct!
Feel free to guess again. :)

  21. Okay, I'll guess 15 again...maybe Henry and Mary Crawford? (MP is sadly the book I'm the least knowledgeable about! Owing, I suppose, to there being no good movie version...)

And for 10, I'll guess Northanger Abbey even though I have no idea :P

    ReplyDelete
  22. This looks fun! Let's see if I can get any of these right... :D

    Names Unscrambled:

    1. Charlotte Lucas
    2. Isabella Thorpe
    3. Harriet Smith
    4. Charles Musgrove
    5. Henry Crawford
    6. John Knightley

    Quotes...

"A Large Fortune is the best recipe for happiness I ever heard of." Is this from Pride and Prejudice?

"It darted through her with the speed of an arrow that Mr. Knightley must marry no one but her."
I totally guessed on the 'arrow', but I think it was from Emma and about Mr. Knightley.

"Think only of the ..." I have no idea.

"After all that romancers may say, there is no doing without..." I want to say "money", but could it be friendship? And don't know where that's from. Sigh.

    Country Houses:

    The Elliots (Kellynch)
    Colonel Brandon (Delaford)
    Mr. Rushworth (Sotherton)
    Mr. Collins (Hunsford)
    Henry Tilney (Woodston)

    This was great fun!! :D

  23. Melody,
Your guess on 15 was incorrect, wrong book, and I think you'll kick yourself when you find out whose house it is (well, not literally).
And for 10 your guessed the novel correctly so that brings your score up to like 13 1/2. Thanks for trying again! :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Julia,
Good job on your guesses! You correctly unscrambled all of the character names,
your guesses on quotes 7 and 8 were completely correct! Your guess on the word in quote 10 was correct! Care to guess what novel it comes from? And you correctly guessed all of the country houses! So your total score is 14. Thanks for playing! :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Okay, so here's a switchy & new guesses:

    13. Rushworth residence, MP?
    15. I'll say THAT one is Henry Tilney. ha ha! Although I'm probably wrong. Again.
And I should have known very well it wasn't Edmund. His house had a weirder name than that. Thornton Lacey, was it not? That sounds like a person's name, not a house's name!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Melody,
Both of your new guesses were correct! So you've now correctly guessed all of the puzzles and your score is 15!
