The Bronte family was very talented in writing, painting and many other creative pursuits. It was their brother Bramwell who painted this portrait of the three literary sisters Anne, Emily and Charlotte Bronte.

I am almost positive I have them all-I don't recognize 4, but I don't know what else it could be. I was using a pen and paper to figure most of these out. I recognized all but 4 although that does ring a bell. I shouldn't have to use paper-oh well. I have read the first two mentioned novels as well as Agnes Grey, I have skipped though a few others, and I own them all. Thanks for doing this one I LOVED it!

Oh, and I was wondering about the extra 5 points thingy. I assume that you must mean an extra 5 points per correctly guessed author, and not 5 points if you guess them all correctly. I was unsure from what you said (which is why I hazarded a guess on all 5), but since Miss Dashwood has 41 points and the total of the rest is 32, I figure that would be impossible unless it was 5 points each! ;-)

Now that the game refreshed my memory as to the titles(and seeing the books on my bookshelf this afternoon yes-I am embarrassed that some of that was hard). Charlotte (I keep wanting to call her Jane) wrote Jane Eyre, Shirley, Villette, and the Professor, and she wrote under the pen name of C-something (a men's name I have forgotten-Currier or something like that)Bell. Emily wrote only one novel, Wuthering Heights, and a book of poetry. She wrote under the pen name of Ellis Bell. Anne wrote Agnes Grey and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. She also wrote with a men's name starting with the first letter of her last name and used the surname (I want to say Acton or something-I will look it up)Bell.
