A Charles Dickens Devotional
One lovely reader will receive a copy of this lovely devotional book which includes quotes from Mr. Dickens novels, verses of scripture and a devotional thought. This book is from Thomas Nelson, the same publishers as A Jane Austen Devotional (which I reviewed here) and is of the same high quality.

Oh yay! How lovely of you to host a giveaway! I would choose one of the Dickens novels...:-)
ReplyDeleteIf I were to pick I would go with the novel, and my choice would either be Our Mutual Friend, or A tale of Two cities. :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. I love your site. I think this reminds me that I need to re-read 'Martin Chuzzlewit' whether I win it or not (though winning it would be nice).
ReplyDeleteI would choose the devotional. :) Reading a bit of classic literature and some scripture seems like a good way to start the morning.
ReplyDeleteShould I confess that I've never read a book by Charles Dickens? Horrible, I know! ;)
ReplyDeleteI would pick The Pickwick Papers.
Hooray! How lovely! I would choose the devotional, because it's the one that isn't available at the library. (Do you see how practical I am?) But it would be lovely to have one of the novels!
ReplyDeleteI posted about it on my blog:

And shall be adding your blog button to my sidebar presently.
Thank you!
A wonderful giveaway! It would be hard to choose, but I believe I would choose the devotional. It would entice me to read more scripture along with more of Dickens works.
ReplyDeleteGod bless,
Sarah Grace
How nice of you to host a giveaway, Miss Laurie! And what lovely prizes!
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I would either choose the Charles Dickens devotional or Our Mutual Friend.
Also, I've added the giveaway button to my sidebar!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your wonderful blog. I look forward to seeing it in my in-box every day. I would love to have the Charles Dickens devotional. I have recently started my morning devotionals again after neglecting them for a long time and would love to have this to help me along. It seems appropriate to honor such an amazing author on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteI put a link to your giveaway on my Facebook page also. Hoping for that Charles Dickens Devotional. Thanks for doing this.
ReplyDeleteI would choose the devotional, because I already own the complete works of Charles Dickens.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be interesting to read the devotional and perhaps gain new (and biblical insight!) into Dickens' writings. Plus, as one reader commented, the devotional is not available throuhg the library!
Oh, I would choose a novel -- "Little Dorrit." PLEASE. :) I desperately want to read that!
ReplyDeleteSo, that's one entry...and then I posted: http://austenitis.blogspot.com/2012/02/giveaway.html
And the button is both in my post, and on my blog, on the sidebar. :)
Thank you so much for this awesome giveaway!
I would chose a novel- Our Mutual Friend, most likely! :D
ReplyDeleteI put up the bloggie button!
ReplyDeleteI would choose Nicholas Nickelby. I LOVE Dickens, but I've never read that one! =)
ReplyDeleteIf I were to win, I would pick the devotional! :)

I believe I'd pick Little Dorrit.
ReplyDeleteIt's a tough choice--I think I would go with Pickwick Papers because I want to reread it but I don't own a copy. I was toying with A Tale of Two Cities because I want to read that one as well, but I have a copy, albeit an old, ratty one from a used bookstore.
ReplyDeleteCurrently I'm reading Little Dorrit, and liking it thus far (about 1/4 done!).
Thanks for the giveaway.
Thanks for such a great giveaway! I'd love a copy of Nicholas Nickleby. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the journal sounds very neat. :-) And I love bookies! :-) Totally addicted...
ReplyDeleteNovels are good too. :-)
Thanks for doing an awesome giveaway.
Hmmm I'd love a copy of Little Dorrit. ;)
