Box Hill scene from Emma (1997) - This reminds me of our moving adventures! |
In the next few days my schedule is:
-Thursday, 7th - Cleaning the empty rooms in our old house (washing walls, cleaning out cupboards, vacuuming, etc.).
-Friday, 8th - My last day of caring for my elderly patient (I'm really going to miss her!), picking up the moving truck and start loading it, friends are coming to help clean up rooms.
-Saturday, 9th - Finish packing the truck and cleaning. Dinner with mom's best friend and her husband - it's going to be hard to say good-bye.
-Sunday, 10th - Start driving in the morning, drive 8-10 hours to mom's home town in NY where we'll stay overnight with friends and visit with some family.
-Monday, 11th - In the morning we'll hit the road again and drive from NY to KY (9-10 hours) and stay overnight in a hotel in KY.
-Tuesday, 12th - The closing for our house will be in the morning so my parents will sign paperwork to make the house officially ours (yipee!!) and then we'll unload the truck.
- Monday, 18th - Dad starts his new job at Answers In Genesis!

Many thanks to all of you for keeping us in your prayers. God is so good in helping us get the work done from day to day. He's also been guiding our moving process, we could not do any of this without Him! We are all getting quite tired but we're blessed with friends who are helping along the way.
Farewell we call to hearth and hall!
Though wind may blow and rain may fall,
We must away ere break of day
Far over wood and mountain tall.
Bye! *waves* See you all when I come back! :)
Very Truly Your's,
God bless you and your family as you move and travel! Kentucky is a beautiful state. I have been there many times myself - due to family living there - and everyone is always beyond nice and hospitable. Plus, I adore their Southern accents!

I'll be looking forward to when you post again, but remember, don't feel pressured into posting until you feel ready, I know what its like to move, and then feel like you need to get a million things done one day.
The best of luck to you and your family in this busy week! I'm looking forward to your blogging return. I just love how you are able to spice up everything, even this post about your blogging break and moving with pictures and quotes from your favourite books and movies!
