Happy Birthday Miss Laurie!

Today is Miss Laurie's 25th Birthday!!

So Miss Laurie, while you were out enjoying yourself at the Jane Austen festival, your blog was hacked. But for a good cause! :)

I wanted to do something very special for her, so I invited some of her "friends" to give me a hand in wishing her a happy birthday!

A sister is one of the best friends you can have, and Miss Laurie has been just that.
I'm blessed to have her as my sister!

Miss Laurie is the reason I've read 3 JA novels and watched (most of) the movie adaptations. Her love for everything old fashioned has influenced me a lot.

Her love for her family is amazing. Most every night she watches a movie or tv show with me, and a lot of times you can find us chatting about our favorite actors (Richard Armitage all the way!!) and actresses, books, movies, names, clothes, etc.
Her love, not only for me, but our whole family too, shows when she makes dinner, does laundry, house cleaning, dishes, etc. when the rest of us are too lazy to do it. :P

Miss Laurie is one special lady, and we all love her so much!
Happy Birthday Dear!

Now it's your turn! I'm sure Miss Laurie's birthday would be made even more special with all of your birthday wishes!

I was debating whether to watch Doctor Who. I have a couple of friends that really love it (especially David Tennant's Doctor). What is your recommendation?

  21. Happy Birthday!
Was the Jane Austen Festival the one at Locust Grove, KY? Because I went with my friends. I have been twice before. I never manage to dress up properly, but I intend to next year. I think the events are perfectly delightful and two of my friends want to volunteer next year.

  22. An Old-Fashioned Girl, Carissa, Lauren, Sarah and Elizabeth - thanks so much for the birthday wishes! I did have a wonderful weekend and day! :)

    Rachel Olivia,
Yes, that was the JA Festival at Locust Grove in KY! You were there? Too bad we missed each other. Maybe you'll recognize me and my dad when I post the photos very soon. Were you there all day on Saturday? Which part was your favorite? My favorite was probably the Regency Fashion Show - the clothes were so lovely! It would be so much fun to volunteer! :)
