Since I've been thinking a lot about the four Elizabeth Gaskell adaptations the game this week is all about the characters from the miniseries Wives and Daughters (1998), North and South (2004), Cranford (2007) and Return To Cranford (2009).
In the two groups of characters below you'll have to recall their surname or occupation and what film they appear in.
To Play: For characters in Group #1 I've given you a first name and you need to tell me their last name and what film they appear in. For Group #2 I've give you a name and you'll have to tell me what their occupation is and what film they appear in. Leave your answers in a comment and I'll respond with your score. Guess as many times as you want. Answers will be posted next Saturday.
Scoring: There's two things to name for each character so one point for each correctly guessed surname or occupation and film. High score of 80 points can be earned.

29. Cranford... and he worked for Lady Ludlow, haha, but I'm not sure what he was exactly. A finance manager? :P
30. N&S, and he was another mill owner, right? So, cotton manufacturer? ;)

34. W&D... and he was studying medicine, so did he become a doctor or something of the sort?

I wish I knew the answers to group 1 but while I know what films they're in, I've no idea of the surnames. Sigh. Must pay better attention! :)
