Answers to the Jane Austen Eye Quiz

"I have been meditating on the very great pleasure which a pair of
fine eyes in the face of a pretty woman can bestow."
- Mr. Darcy, Pride and Prejudice, Chapter 6

The popularity and of the Jane Austen Fine Eyes Quiz took me rather by surprise this week!
It was very exciting to see my little quiz tweeted by a few popular Jane Austen Twitter pages and re-blogged by Vic at Jane Austen Today (one of my favorite Jane Austen blogs)!

The number of people who took the quiz was also a surprise:
-Ten people here at Old-Fashioned Charm
-Five at YouTube
-Four at Jane Austen Today

If you haven't yet played the quiz or want to review it you can comment with your answers here and I'll still tally your score.

And here are is what you've all been waiting for, the Answers Video:

  1. This was such a fun quiz, Miss Laurie! I heartily enjoyed it. Excessively diverting!
I have a question for you. For a while, I have been compiling pictures for a Period Drama Dresses quiz that I was planning to post on my blog. Originally it was going to be just a regular blog post with pictures, but I like your idea of making a video for the quiz much better. If I were to make a video for my dresses quiz and post it on my blog, would you see that as stealing your idea or would it be all right?
Thank you for making all these fun games! It must take you a lot of time--I really appreciate them!

  2. Miss Dashwood,
So glad you enjoy my quizzes! It does take some time to make them but I usually multitask so I'm watching a period drama or listening to music while I'm working. It's a labor of love really so it's very nice to hear that other people really enjoy them!

Of course I don't mind if you "copy" me by posting a dress game. I'd love to play your game, it sounds quite delightful!

  3. Oooh! Dear. I should have known the first one. What a sad girl I am!
    Okay, I shouldn't have known 7. yay.
I'm promising myself not to even LOOK at your EG unscramble post until I have all my stuff done...

That was a fun game Miss Laurie! Must have taken a deal of work.

Woah! The Emma dance song has Arietta in the name?! That's one of my favorite girl's names...

  4. 126 points! I haven't a few of these, can't wait to find them and watch them! (Funny though, I saw #53 and said 'That's Mrs. Jennings!', though I've yet to see that version.) Thanks for posting!

  6. Time to start watching those versions I am unfamiliar with. I've already ordered the Pride and Prejudice Mini Series from the library. Thanks for the fun!
